Cancellation and refund policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This policy covers payments made to VoltKit through Razorpay for credit packs and direct INR RTC minute bundles, and the wallet services paid for with credits. SVGA Maker is free with account limits. Everything else on VoltKit, the tools and games, is free, so there is nothing to cancel or refund there.

1. What you buy

VoltKit sells credits: a balance in your VoltKit account that you spend on paid wallet services. SVGA Maker conversions are free. RTC minute bundles are paid separately in INR, and you choose where the minutes go: your account balance, which all your projects can use, or one project. Credits and RTC bundles are bought with a single payment. There are no subscriptions, and nothing renews or is charged again automatically. Current packs and prices are on the pricing page.

2. Cancelling a purchase

You can cancel before paying by closing the Razorpay checkout window; nothing is charged. Once a payment is complete, the credits or minutes are delivered straight away (see the shipping and delivery policy), so a completed purchase cannot be cancelled, but its unused credits can be refunded as described below. Nothing repeats, so there is nothing to cancel later on.

3. Refunds for unused credits

Within 7 days of a purchase you can ask for a refund of the credits from it that you have not used.

  • We refund the unused part at the price you paid per credit. For example, if you paid ₹100 for 100 credits and 40 of them are unused, we refund ₹40.
  • Bonus credits are free and are not refunded. When a purchase is refunded, the bonus credits that came with it are removed as well.
  • Refunded credits are taken out of your wallet, so only credits still in it can be refunded.
  • After 7 days a purchase is no longer refundable on request. Payment problems (section 6) are dealt with whenever you report them.

4. Credits already spent

Credits spent on delivered paid services and delivered RTC minute purchases are not refundable under the standard cancellation policy, because the service has been delivered.

  • RTC minutes are delivered when they are added to your account balance or to the project you chose. Minutes in your account balance count as delivered even if no project has used them yet.
  • RTC minutes stay where they were added. They cannot be turned back into credits, or moved between your account balance and a project or from one project to another. Deleting a project deletes its own remaining minutes; it does not change your account balance.
  • If a finished SVGA file is broken, contact support. SVGA Maker is free, so there is no conversion payment to refund.

5. Failed delivery and automatic returns

In these cases you do not need to ask:

  • SVGA Maker. Conversions are free. A conversion that fails does not count against your daily or monthly limit.
  • RTC minutes. A definite delivery rejection initiates a refund through Razorpay to the original payment method, whether the minutes were for your account balance or for a project. Temporary RTC outages remain Completing and retry automatically; they are not refunded merely because a response was lost. Historical hour purchases paid with credits keep their original wallet refund rules, including the 24-hour recovery window.

6. Failed, duplicate and missing payments

  • A failed payment adds no credits. If money left your account for a payment that did not complete, your bank or Razorpay normally returns it automatically, usually within 5 to 7 business days. If it has not come back, contact us.
  • Charged, but no credits or minutes: if a payment went through and the credits did not reach your wallet, or the RTC minutes did not reach your account balance or project, we add them or refund the payment in full, whichever you prefer.
  • Charged twice for one purchase: we refund the extra payment in full.

7. How to ask for a refund

Email contact@voltkit.in from the email address of your VoltKit account, or open a ticket under Support in your dashboard. Include:

  • the Razorpay payment ID, if you have it: it starts with pay_ and is in Razorpay's payment confirmation
  • the date and amount of the payment
  • what went wrong, or which purchase you want refunded

We reply within 3 business days.

8. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are paid through Razorpay to the original payment method, the same card, bank account or UPI account you paid with, in Indian rupees. We do not refund in cash or to a different account. We issue an approved refund within 2 business days; your bank then usually takes 5 to 7 business days to show it.

9. Before you dispute a payment

If something has gone wrong, please contact us before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank. We can usually put it right sooner, and a dispute opened while a refund is already on its way can delay the money reaching you.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version. A change applies to purchases made after it is published.
