How to use the text case converter
- Type or paste text into the input.
- Click a case style. The output updates instantly and shows an example of each style.
- For code styles (camel, Pascal, snake, kebab, constant) each line is converted separately, so a list of names converts in one go.
- Copy the result, download it, or click Use as input to chain conversions.
Features
- Ten styles including title case with smart handling of small words
- Sentence case that capitalises after full stops, question marks and line breaks
- Identifier styles that understand existing camelCase, acronyms, underscores and hyphens
- Line-by-line conversion for lists of variable or file names
- Instant, private, no length limit
Which case for what
Conventions differ by language and platform, but these are the common defaults:
- camelCase – variables and functions in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Swift
- PascalCase – classes, types, components and C# methods
- snake_case – Python variables and functions, Ruby, database columns
- kebab-case – URLs, CSS classes, file names, npm packages
- CONSTANT_CASE – environment variables and constants
- Title Case – headlines and titles; Sentence case – UI text and body copy
How words are detected
Input is split into words at spaces, punctuation, underscores and hyphens, and also at case changes inside a word, so parseHTTPResponse becomes parse, HTTP and Response. That lets you convert existing identifiers between styles, not just plain sentences. Title Case keeps short words such as of, the and and lowercase except at the start or end of a title.
