A frame travels with the person
A gift plays once; a frame stays on someone's picture for as long as they hold it, so it is seen everywhere they appear. That makes frames one of the most visible rewards an app can give.

Built around a transparent centre
The middle of a frame stays transparent so the person's own picture shows through, and the decoration sits around, and partly over, the edge of the circle. Your app layers the avatar and the frame, usually on a square canvas.
- Agree the avatar circle's size and position inside the frame's canvas before designing.
- Design at two to three times the largest size your app shows the frame, for sharp screens.
- Check the frame at its smallest size too: fine detail disappears in a chat list.
Animated or still
An animated frame suits places where one or a few are on screen, like a profile page or the speaker's seat. Where dozens show at once, a still version keeps scrolling smooth. SVGA needs an SVGA player; animated WebP plays in image components that support animation; PNG and still WebP need nothing extra.
- Animate on the profile and on the seat of the person speaking; use the still frame in long lists.
- Pause animations that scroll off screen or sit in a background tab.
- Show the still version to people who prefer reduced motion.
VIP, SVIP, level and event frames
Apps often tie frames to a membership tier, a level, a festival or a pair of friends. The rules are your app's: who may wear which frame, and for how long. The frame itself is artwork you buy once and can give to as many users as you like.
- Make tiers easy to tell apart at a glance: colour, material, motion.
- Store expiry on your server; the file itself never expires.
- Time an event frame to a festival or an anniversary in your app.

What is a profile frame or avatar frame?
A decorative border drawn around someone's profile picture wherever it appears in an app. Live-streaming and voice chat apps use them as rewards for VIP and SVIP members, levels and events.
Which format should an animated profile frame use?
SVGA suits animated frames when your app already plays SVGA; animated WebP plays in image components that support animation; APNG and Lottie are other options. Keep a still PNG or WebP version for long lists. Each VoltKit gift page names its format.
What size should an avatar frame be?
Design on a square canvas at two to three times the largest size your app shows it, with the avatar circle's size and position agreed first, then check it at the smallest size. Keep it light enough to load quickly in a list.
Can I give frames to VIP or SVIP members in my app?
Yes. The licence lets you use a gift you buy or claim as you like in your own apps and business, including as a paid item or a reward, for any number of users. You may not resell or share the file itself.
Do the 3D-style frames include a 3D scene or mesh?
No. They are rendered 3D-style images and animations in the format each gift page lists. A purchase does not include a mesh, rig or editable 3D scene unless the page says so.
