Pay for usage
Each participant uses one media rate at a time. HD audio is included with video.
Credits fund time; they are not minutes. At this video rate, 100 participant-minutes use ₹9.90 of base wallet value. Spend the rest on more video or voice as you need it.
One person × one minute = one participant-minute. Base video uses 30 fps; 60 fps upgrades cost extra. Free gifts can be claimed separately; premium gifts are sold separately.
How usage and rates work
10 people × 100 minutes = 1,000 participant-minutes. Standard wallet rates at the current recharge conversion, before any recharge charges. Project contract rates may differ. Your free and previously bought minutes are used first. Unused wallet value remains available for later usage.

Choose the moment, then choose the gift
A small reaction next to a speaker needs different artwork from a full-screen celebration. Plan where the gift appears, how long it stays and what happens when several people send one at the same time. Keep speakers, captions and room controls readable.
- Live streams: a short overlay acknowledging a viewer or a creator milestone.
- Audio room gifts: a reaction around a speaker tile, without blocking mute or moderation controls.
- Social and game rooms: a celebration tied to an app event, with a still fallback for reduced motion.
RTC carries the conversation; your app controls gifting
Use VoltKit RTC for your room's communication. Integrate gift assets in your app's presentation layer and keep purchases, balances and permissions on your own server. The gift store sells artwork licences; it does not manage the coins or creator payouts inside your app.
- Validate a sender and room on your server before accepting a gift action.
- Publish an event identifier and gift identifier after the action is accepted; deduplicate retries.
- Let each receiving client resolve an authorised asset and play it in a bounded queue.
- Decide explicitly whether the overlay belongs only in the app UI or also in a recording or broadcast.
Test the player you will actually ship
Choose a supplied format that your target platforms can play. Test animation timing, transparency, memory and downloads on a lower-end phone while a call is active. A catalogue preview is a reduced, watermarked rendition; it is not a performance benchmark for the original file.
- Start with one gift, one room and two participants before expanding the catalogue.
- Add mute, reduced-motion and background-tab behaviour, plus a text acknowledgement.
- Keep gift downloads and decoding from interrupting the call; cap concurrent playback.
Gift questions
Can I use gifts with VoltKit RTC?
You can integrate purchased assets into your RTC app. Your app implements gift events, playback and any end-user currency. Buying artwork does not add gifting automatically to the RTC SDK.
Does the RTC SDK include a sendGift API?
A built-in gift-sending API and player are not included in this catalogue release. Your team implements the application events, asset playback and any virtual currency.
Are gift assets included with RTC usage?
Catalogue artwork is purchased separately. An RTC account or usage plan does not automatically license every gift.
